The epic story of creation of the universe: chaos forms into the rich pattern of life on earth and beyond.
The first phrase of the first chapter, of the first book, of this first and foremost answer says: Verse 1: In the beginning God has created the heaven and earth. suggesting a universal beginning before which God was ruling, but into this time zone Man is non admitted. For the creation, its beginning if its beginning. God first created the spiritual entities -- the heaven, and then the earthly matters -- the earth. And the spiritual entities preceded the practical ones.
Verse 2: And the earth was in chaos, and darkness was on top of the abyss, and the Spirit of God breezed over the water. The initial state of the creation is chaos. There was a state of utmost despair: a dark deep hole. And there were water, over which the spirit of God was hovering.
Verse 3: And God said: "Let there be light!" and there was light. And God saw that light was good, so God separated between the light and the darkness. Was the creation of light of a different category than the creation of the heaven and earth, since with light we read a clear command, and evaluation of results? The idea that God checks his creation, and sees it was good is strange. God the omnipotent has no doubt as to the goodness of his creation, unlike a craftsman. God creates the world in binary separation: heaven v. earth, day v. night.
